Network cabling specialists Systematic Data Solutions have proudly announced they’ve been awarded a 4 year ongoing supply of network infrastructure cabling with a leading technology innovation centre.

Based in the Liverpool Innovation Park, Systematic have worked on a number of high profile projects over the last 5 years including the iconic Royal Liver Building, the new INNSiDE Liverpool hotel and The Spine, the Royal College of Physicians’ new northern headquarters.

Now, after a lengthy pre-qualification and tender process, they’ve just been appointed on a 4 year contract to deliver an ongoing supply of network infrastructure cabling with the Centre for Process Innovation (CPI).

Their recent success in the world of public sector procurement follows the company tapping into the expert advice available through the ERDF Business Growth Programme at Liverpool City Council and signifies the start of a new period of growth.

Systematic director Karl Aldridge, said:

“The support from Liverpool City Council through the Business Growth Programme was instrumental in helping us win this contract as it equipped us with the required knowledge and confidence – it will undoubtedly stand us in good stead for further wins in the future”.

The framework win will enable the business to invest, build and plan for the future as it provides a strong pipeline of work for the forthcoming years. Jacqueline Gilroy, Project Engagement Manager at Liverpool City Council, said:

“Our Business Growth Programme is designed to help SMEs who have clear growth potential and ambition – we were pleased to offer Systematic Data Solutions fully-funded 1:1 support from our specialist advisor Melanie Bryan and are delighted to see that this assistance has already led to some really positive results.”

Procurement specialist Melanie Bryan explained how, like many SMEs, Systematic had built an impeccable track record within the private sector and wanted to expand their services into the public sector:

“Their success clearly demonstrates that public sector tenders can be a sustainable growth strategy for SMEs and it was a pleasure to demystify the tendering process for them through the Business Growth Programme”.

This support programme is partially funded by the European Regional Development Fund and is delivered by Liverpool City Region Local Authorities and Chambers of Commerce. Liverpool SMEs interested in accessing this fully-funded support can find more details HERE.
