Take a look inside Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village hotel
The Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village Hotel is now open. Designed by Ryder Architecture, the 16-storey hotel boasts a gym, restaurant and conference areas in addition to its 221 rooms. The interiors pull from Sundukovy Sisters’ global design concept for the Novotel brand.
Of the 221 hotel rooms, 32 will be long-stay suites. Given the hotel’s proximity to the Royal Liverpool University Hospital and the University of Liverpool, these apartment-style rooms were made with patients, students, and their relatives in mind. The hotel also has accessible rooms.
Novotel has recruited Liverpool-based Bean Coffee Roasters to operate a café on the ground floor. Bean will also supply roasted coffee throughout the hotel.
The hotel will celebrate local vendors with its bar and restaurant menus, which will source drafts and liquor from Love Lane Brewery, Murphy’s Gin and Vodka, Rascal Gin, Zest Limoncello, and Liverpool Lost Dock Rum. Guests can also purchase sweet treats from Baltic Bakehouse and Laura’s Little Bakery.
“Most important to me is that guests come here and know they are in Liverpool,” said Howard Lewis, general manager of the hotel.
“That is why we are so excited to announce new partnerships with local businesses such as Bean Coffee and Love Lane Brewery, who will bring that quality, authentic Scouse experience to our guests, whether they are staying with us for a business trip, or simply popping into the lobby for a cup of coffee and a catch-up with a friend.”
“It is essential that we support our local suppliers, and we are actively looking to work with other local companies over the coming months.”
Morgan Sindall Construction was the main contractor for the hotel, handing over the project in February this year. Faithful+Gould was the project manager.
The Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village hotel is owned by Liverpool City Council and managed by Legacy Hotel & Resorts on the authority’s behalf.
