SPOTLIGHT: Sedulo Expansion in to Liverpool City Region

National accountancy firm, Sedulo are one of Liverpool City Region’s latest financial and professional investors. Here Marketing Manager, Adam White shares the story behind the company’s recent expansion in to the region and why it is such an important move for them.

Speaking with Invest Liverpool, Adam explains how Sedulo latest move is a natural step for further growth, following their existing established offices in Manchester, Leeds and London. Adam said:
“Liverpool has a quirky edge and fitted our company ethos very well, says White. “We have a lot of big brands and individual creative brands as clients particularly in the sports arena and Liverpool really complemented that”.
As well as expanding in to the city region the company have recently acquired Wilson Henry – one of the longest established business advisory firms in the city and as such seen their staff almost quadruple from 9 to almost 40 overnight.
“The acquisition has been a fundamental step in our business plan and is very important to us as a company, Wilson Henry have been in the city for 63 years and the skills, client base and legacy of the company blend really well with Sedulo” says White.

With a client base that already includes Roxy Ballroom, Forever Unique, Missy Empire, England Boxing and Warrington Wolves the firm are keen to provide a more diverse offering to their clients than traditional accountancy firms, with the recent launch of their £1.4million world-class offices in Exchange Flags which includes private members area for clients.
“The private members area is something we’ve been keen to include in all of our offices and Liverpool is no different. It’s an informal area our clients can use for free for meetings, events or to get a change of scene for a few hours and is bespoke to each city. We make the rooms really engaging and places people want to spend time in”.
The Liverpool office boasts an American Diner, impressive bar styled on The Ivy and Victorian rooftop terrace, and the Klopp /Kendall Suite – complete with signed shirts from Sir Kenny Dalglish and Kevin Ratcliffe plus a table football machine and dugout seating in blue and red set against Goodison Park and Anfield.
