WORKS COMMENCES ON NEW £100M LIVERPOOL CITY CENTRE GATEWAY DEVELOPMENT

Works have now started on a new £100m Liverpool city centre gateway development.

Sourced Development and Sourced Construction Group’s scheme will bring forward 614 spacious luxury one and two-bedroom boutique apartments along with mixed-use retail space.
The striking residential and commercial project, Westminster Park, will create more than 800 new jobs and bring economic benefits in the city.
The scheme also aims to provide a “bold statement of intent” for the area’s wider regeneration and respond to the city’s “growing population and rising housing demand”.
Apartments are set out over three buildings.
With pre-commencement conditions satisfied, activity has now started on site.
Phase one of the development sees Liverpool-based Newry Construction appointed as the main contractor for Block A, with completion due January 2023.

The new development is located in Bevington Bush, opposite LJMUs James Parsons building and the new Merseyside Police headquarters. It is in easy walking distance of Liverpool city centre and its dock area.
The communal facilities comprise of an on-site gym for residents, landscaped court yards, parking facilities, secure bicycle storage and also boasts a 24-hour reception/concierge service.
Designed to accommodate exclusive city living, the scheme will be completed to a high-specification and takes advantage of the stunning views across Liverpool’s waterfront and skyline, the Wirral Peninsula and beyond to the Snowdonia National Park.
Westminster Park has a GDV of approximately £100m.
